Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This might have been obvious for some who had this issue. But for someone like me who may have had this issue and been lost, make sure you change firmware to uefi in your virtual machine. There appears to be no "bios" boot option in these ISO's. That's what throws the 0009 error on boot. I was about to write up an issue after many failed installs and decided to double (probably quadruple at this point) my work and finally figured it out. I am on void linux and it didn't work at first so I installed this package (edk2-ovmf) and rebooted. Was it necessary? Not sure as I tend to fly through most things half cocked. But I leave this here for anyone who spends most of there time stumbling around in the dark with a flashlight from 1988 like me. Thanks to justaguylinux for putting this together for us noobs to learn something, intentional or otherwise.
I shipped UEFI-only because
grub-pc-binwas missing on the build host, sogrub-mkrescuesilently dropped the BIOS El Torito boot record. Older VMs (and pre-2010 hardware) booting in legacy/BIOS mode would get an unbootable ISO.Fixed.... I think. ;)
